Foreshore: Our Story

The Inspiration

I started Foreshore in 2022 to bring together two things I love — golf and the ocean. “Foreshore” is about the links on one side, the waves on the other, and finding your place somewhere in between. Back then, I couldn’t find gear that felt genuine or matched my style, so I made my own. What began as a personal side project has grown into a brand built on a DIY spirit, unique design, and the freedom to play the game your own way.

 

How It Started

What began as personal, handcrafted covers quickly caught the attention of family and friends. By early 2022, I decided to put Foreshore out into the world. From day one, the idea was simple: make gear that means something — pieces that carry a bit of your story, whether it’s a favourite course, a golf trip with mates, or a milestone round.

What We Make Now

From those first driver, fairway, and hybrid covers, Foreshore has grown into a range of handcrafted golf essentials — blade and mallet putter covers, alignment stick covers, valuables pouches, scorecard holders, bag tags, and more. Every piece is designed to blend quality materials with playful design and a touch of storytelling.

 

Customization & Collaboration

Customization is where Foreshore really shines. What started as creating one-off pieces for a few golf tour groups and events quickly caught attention. Today, we work with golf clubs, schools, and brands across South Africa — crafting unique keepsakes for individuals, teams, and events, and stocking pro shops at some of the country’s top golf clubs.

 

What the Future Holds

I didn’t start Foreshore just to make covers — it’s about building a lifestyle. Who knows what’s next — apparel, caps, and even more accessories are all on the horizon.
